10 reviews for Fitbit Charge 2 Heart Rate + Fitness Wristband, Black, Large (US Version), 1 Count

    Fitbit Charge 2
Upgraded from Fitbit Flex. Love the extra functions that the Charge offers: Gentle pulse reminder to move, message and phone alerts. Love being able to look at Charge and see my steps, heart rate and calories burned. Several exercise functions available as well. I have had it 3 weeks and am very pleased.

    Very satisfied
My recent purchase of my new fitbit charge2 was due to the fact that my old charge HR band had started coming a loose I reported it to Walmart insurance department Asurion because I took out the extended warranty they sent me a label to send it back send it back received a gift certificate for Walmart and was able to purchase the upgrade charge 2 at the same price very satisfied.

    Excellent upgrade from HR
This is my 3rd fitbit style. I had the flex, and then the Charge HR. I loved the Charge HR, however the downsides were that you couldn’t change the band if it got damaged, and the charging port broke often. The company was great at replacing it under warranty, however it was inconvenient to be without my tracker for a few days. I got this one as an early gift, and those issues have been fixed. The band is replaceable, the charger is more secure and seems less likely to break. This tracker reminds you to get up and move when you have been still for too long during the day, and the workout modes are fantastic. I use the silent alarm often to avoid waking up my newborn. Best tracker yet, kudos to Fitbit for listening to customer feedback and suggestions!

    A Great Activity Tracker!
Purchased the Fitbit Charge 2 Activity Tracker at Walmart.com. It was ready very quickly and the ease of picking it up was awesome! The Charge 2 is a great activity tracker and is a fair price. This was a gift for my father who is a big guy. I was worried he would need the XL, but the large fit him perfectly fine. The tracker keeps up with heart rate, steps, activity (stairs climbed, etc.), and even sleep. We purchased this for our dad after he had open heart surgery. I highly recommend this device!

    Great Tracker
This is my first tracking device I have ever used. I wasn’t sure I wanted a “large watch” style for the fear of hitting it on something but I really like the sleekness of the Charge 2. I have had it for a week now and I really like it. It helps me to stay moving. The FitBit app is awesome to use, you can really customize the tracker to your specifics. Not too crazy about the locking slide on the wrist band but I know it is to keep the band in place. The charger is easy to use. Overall it is really a great buy.

Really like the Fitbit Charge 2
My wife had been bugging me for a while to get a Fitbit. I was a little skeptical about it at first especially when the charging port on hers broke. It just seemed a bit too flimsy and I tend to be hard on anything worn on my wrist (I’ve destroyed several watches). But I’ve changed my mind and really like the Charge 2. First the charging system has been greatly improved on the Charge 2 although the cord is still way to short. The large wrist band fit me very well and should accommodate most if not all medium to large individuals. I like the activity tracker heart rate monitor and other features but it does take some time to get set up and learn the system. I connected my Fitbit to my smart phone since I have both with me all the time. Setting up a second connection with my laptop proved to be more of a problem. I can’t pair 2 monitors at the same time to the Fitbit. So if I want to view my progress on activity, sleep, calorie intake, etc on a larger screen I have to turn off the bluetooth connection on my phone then set up the connection with the computer. It’s kind of a pain and I mostly just use the phone now. It’s helped me improve my health and weight loss but you have to be honest on your calorie intake. I was really surprised at the sleep monitor and how little actual sleep I was getting. Overall I’m really happy with it and give it 5 stars.

    best fitness tracker right now
I have been using various Fitness trackers and this is probably the best fitness tracker right now. However, the Alta might be better for daily use but the vibration feedback for phone calls and alarms is weaker than the original Charge HR. Overall, because of its ease of use and features, it is the best fitness tracker in the market. I am submitting this review as part of a contest.

    Best tracker I’ve ever owned
I love the accuracy of all the Fitbit that I’ve ever owned. The Charge 2 does not disappoint. You definitely get what you paid for and I love the high quality of Fitbit’s products. The Charge 2 touch screen and exercise tracking are nice upgrade, but I really appreciate the ‘relax’ feature where you can take time out of your day to do even a short 2 minute meditation. The screen is also customizable using the Fitbit app! Super cool! For me, the Fitbit app is really the best part of owning a Fitbit. There are so many features in there to track all of my daily activities. Definitely keeps me motivated and keep my weight off!

    Great product
First of all, I ordered one from Kohl’s, couldn’t get it to work and then found this one $50 cheaper at Walmart. Picked it up same day and it’s worked like a charm since. it tells you when the battery is low, but doesn’t need to be charged often. stats are available any time you want them and then you receive a weekly summary comparing your stats to last week. I still haven’t figured out all the technology, but it’s a great tool for me, paired with food logging and motivation to move — and sleep! Also, you can find alternate bands so you’re not going to work or a dinner part in a rubber watch. I found bands in Gold and Silver so I’m pretty much covered. The only reason it’s not a full 5 is because I still haven’t been able to figure out how to vibrate to remind me to move.

    Ok but far from great.
I purchased this device as an upgrade to the Jarv 4.0 that I was using and it got good reviews on CNET. At first I was like ok heart rate monitor is cool and happy to have that. But after my first day of using it I have some things to discuss about the Fitbit Charge 2.

So I got it home and set up was pretty easy it connected to my phone and I charged it to full battery. I placed it on and went about my day. Seems to do everything well like my old activity tracker did. But like all things this device is far from perfect.

Pros: Heart Rate Monitor, decent price for what I “thought” I was getting.

Cons: Syncing is sketchy had to restart the fitness tracker this morning in order for it to sync and update data. Touch screen is iffy. it takes multiple touches for it to move forward the data on the device. Fitbit app is to jumbled. can’t update settings without going to the Fitbit website. The calorie tracker on the app is very confusing and apparently I’m not the first to comment on this according to the reviews when google the over budgeting. (MyFitnessPal is my go to calorie and food log app – highly recommend).

Biggest con: I overpaid for cheap plastic. Its all plastic from the band to the band clasp, to the housing that is the Fitbit part. my Jarv is all plastic does everything this device does at $59. I feel like I’m wearing a children’s toy on my wrist. Seriously its like a children’s watch plastic.

In the end I will be returning this device and go back to my Jarv tracker, though it doesn’t sync with MyFitnessPal like Fitbit does, and continue my search for something that doesn’t feel like a toy. Disappointed but not discouraged.
